MD, Child & Adolescent Specialty

Dr. Matthew Soulier

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Soulier grew up in Chadds Ford, PA, but his parents were raised in Utah. He has lived on both coasts and is happy to have recently returned to Utah. Dr. Soulier was a faculty member and the child psychiatry training director at UC Davis School of Medicine for 10 years. He has since worked in a variety of clinical settings and has testified often in juvenile, family, and adult criminal courts.

HOBBIES:
Dr. Soulier loves to travel, eat well, and enjoy time with his friends and family. He is proud of his two daughters who are working and attending school in New York City as well as his teenage son who loves basketball.

Dr. Michael Thomas

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Thomas is an Associate Faculty member at Brigham Young University, and serves on the board of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. He has also provided clinical services to a number of organizations including Utah Valley Psychiatric and Counseling Clinic, Valley Mental Health and Intermountain Healthcare. He consistently speaks at conferences on a variety of mental health topics.

HOBBIES:
Dr. Thomas is a running enthusiast, and has completed ultra marathons with lengths of up to 100 miles. His most recent race was just over 50 miles. He served an LDS mission in Thailand and has loved cooking Thai food ever since. He is also a strong believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Brandon Henscheid

EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Henscheid specializes in the psychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults, including the geriatric population. He has completed over 6,000 hours of pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

As a natural outgrowth of his practice and experience, he has developed an interest and proficiency in forensic psychology. His training extends into many different therapies as well, including Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention. He is a current member of the American Psychological Association and is taking on additional post-doctoral training in Clinical Psychopharmacology at the California School of Professional Psychology.

HOBBIES:
In his free time, Dr. Henscheid enjoys swimming, rowing, and continually seeking out new knowledge to enrich both his practice and his personal life. He is a proud father of two children and relishes opportunities to spend time with his family and friends.

Jean Stanford

EXPERIENCE:
Jean has worked in multiple hospitals on the Wasatch Front in Acute Psychiatric Units for over 7 years. Jean has broad experience in healthcare, but specializes in mental health and Psychiatric treatment. Previously, she worked in pain management, endocrinology, nephrology and family medicine.

HOBBIES:
Jean loves to travel, especially to places where she can snorkel. Jean also likes to cook and spend time with her family and friends. She has an adorable dog whom she loves very much.

Claudia Munoz

EXPERIENCE:
Claudia is a TMS Technician at our Draper office and she loves every minute of her job. She enjoys being able to assist patients in any way she can and prides herself on providing care that is above and beyond expectations. She loves knowing that she can make a difference - small or big - in someone’s life. Claudia has been working in the medical field for over nine years, and has been working as a TMS Technician for over two years

HOBBIES:
Claudia loves outdoor activities, especially hiking. She loves the beach, and is always looking forward to her next beach vacation. Travel is a big passion of hers, and she is ever on the lookout for amazing places to visit. She loves her family and enjoys spending her free time with her children.

Analy Davis

ABOUT:
Analy loves being a part of the Strive team. Her favorite thing about being a TMS Technician is the opportunity to be a part of someone’s mental health journey. She loves getting to know each patient, creating new friendships, and catching up with them on their day to day lives. Analy has been working in the medical field for 8 years, and is currently working on her degree in exercise science.

HOBBIES:
Analy loves to travel to new places, and of all the countries she has visited, Guatemala is her favorite. Analy is a foodie, and is always searching for the best new place to eat. When she isn’t at Strive, she enjoys spending time with her husband and all of her loved ones.
